Rules

Members are expected to follow the rules and regulations of the sim at all times, both in character and out of character.

By continuing, you affirm that you will sim in a proper and adequate manner.

Members who choose to make ultra short posts or post very infrequently will be removed immediately, and by continuing, you agree to this.

In addition, in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA), we do not accept players under the age of 18. Any players found to be under the age of 18 will be immediately removed without question. By agreeing to these terms, you are also saying that you are above the age of 18.

Along with complying with Infinite Pantheon's Code of Conduct, these are the rules of the ship:

1: NO DRAMA! We write enough of it, we do not require real life doses of it. If you have a problem, report it to the command staff or it will remain a problem, as none of us are actually telepathic. While we welcome your concerns and input, OOC backbiting and bickering does nothing but weaken our crew and it will not be tolerated.

**Drama = Any behavior that proves unacceptably disruptive in-story or between writers.

3: Out Of Character (OOC) problems should not become In Character (IC) problems. Just as In Character ‘issues and conflicts’ should not become Out Of Character problems. If you feel that your part of the story is being misrepresented or misunderstood, please communicate this. This is a print venue, sometimes misunderstandings and hurt feelings can happen, and the best way to avoid such occurrences is open communication.

4: Treat others in the manner in which you would prefer to be treated. Give others the same level of consideration that you would expect from them. Respect is something that is earned, and bonds formed, through such gestures. Abusive behavior will not be tolerated.

5: Real Life before Role Play. As much as many of us love this realm, it is a realm of fantasy that we indulge in for whatever personal reasons that each of us have. It is meant to be an escape, a flight of fancy, a chance to spread our creative wings together... in other words, its supposed to be fun. Try to separate your real life stressors from this shared experience and allow it to be the respite of the mind and soul that it is meant to be.

6: All of us have a real life that we must attend to, as much as that may bore us at times. This is something that is fully understood by the command staff of this crew. However, we do have expectations of participation. We expect a minimum of two (2) posts per month, but are encourage to post more.

7: If you are involved in a Joint Post (JP) with other writers, don't leave them hanging. If you are tagged in a JP please try to respond within 24 hours. If you cannot respond to the Tag, please inform others.

We know that life likes to throw us curve-balls from time to time. All that we ask is that you communicate with us. We don’t need all of the messy details, simply letting us know that something has come up goes a long way.

8: All mission posts must be at least 500 words in length.

9: All players must follow the Leave of Absence Policy:

Leave of Absence (LOA) - If you will be away for 7 days or more (also if you have a JP going and will not be able to reply within 4 days)

Extended Leave of Absence (ELOA) - For any absence in excess of one full calendar month. If away for more than 1 full calendar month you may be required to step down from a post and return to any available/applicable position upon return.

Absent Without Leave (AWOL) - Not being in contact and not logging into the X-Men: Faction’s site for 14 days or more without requesting LOA or ELOA can result in instant removal.

10: The Captain reserves the right to review and edit all stories. This ensures that the commanding officer has full accountability in the event that something gets posted that violates either the ship’s standards or Infinite Pantheon standards, as well as being a bit of incentive to the writers to follow said standards.

11: This sim is 18+. Rated R. Anyone found to be under the age of 18 will be removed immediately. The race, gender and sexual orientation of your character are, of course, your choice.
