Tales of the Unawakened
Location: Barstow California
Juli typed on a laptop inside a Barstow restaurant. She managed to get onto her VPN and build several fake identities off the personal data she kept on-hand with her brothers and sisters. Not to mention her idiot cousins. She created several credit cards in her sisters name, they had so many credit cards, they couldn't keep track of all of them so it was quite easy to steel their identities. It would take some time for father to figure out, with his political campaign, where Juli was getting her money.
Once again, she was paying for things with her father's money. And her siblings were idiots. Stupidly rich idiots. In a few years they were going to be stupidly dead idiots. Without a doubt, they had a hand in Sarah's death."
Juli looked at an empty booth in front of her. Usually Sarah would be sitting there. She had watched Sarah's death all over the news. She sighed as the same old story aired again and closed her laptop to head out to her SUV.
Now was time to build up resources and plan. Oh it was time to plan.. It was time to be patient... And later... much later.. it would be time for revenge when her family would loose everything.
That would be worst than death, for Alice and Janice to actually have to work. For Peter and Jake not to have the saftey net of father to come to their rescue whenever Jake's little sexual escapades goes to far, or when Peter had another assault charge.
To make sure Mother could not be oblivious to her father's abuses in the French Riviera.
The waitress spoke. "What happened to you honey."
Juli responded. "Father...."
"Don't you have anywhere to go for help?"
Juli shook her head. "You cannot help me." She walked out of the restaurant leaving more mysteries than before for the staff that noticed her bruises. She had become distrustful of people.
Sarah was gone. The only person who could help Juliette Erickson now was Juliette Erickson. Life was hell, but like Dante, she had to face all the rings of it in order to leave it.
She walked out to her SUV to notice a bunch of activists getting ready with posterboard signs to protest something.
"You're being used.... Nothing you do will every change anything. You're like a twenty-four hour bitching service."
"F*ck you, Bitch." They replied in unison."
"Whatever." She climbed into her SUV and drove away, towards Vegas on I-15
