Personality & Traits

Personal History Eldest daughter of a very wealthy couple from L.A. She is considered useless by her parents despite getting top grades. They focused on her younger brother.

At 18 she is kicked out of home because she refused to marry the man her father chose for her.

She moved in with her spinster Aunt who took her under her wing and taught her about the Aunts business of real estate. They lived in the Hollywood Hills together quite happily.

When her Aunt died she was 22 in 1976. She inherited the company and found that she owned her parents house as her parents rented it from her Aunt. When the will was read, her parents demanded she sign everything over to them.

Denying them again, she ordered them out of their home. Giving them 2 weeks to move out before she called the cops. Selena then left the lawyers office and returned to her Aunt's home, which was now her's as well.

Unbeknownst to her, her brother had hired people to kill her so they could inherit everything from her. That night as she prepared for sleep, they broke into the house to find and kill her.

But Selena was not going to let that happen. Her aunt had taught her self defence and she had a small calibre pistol under her pillow.

She called the police and defended herself. Three of the men were wounded and all 5 were arrested. Selena was lucky she was not hurt and played the part of an upset young woman to the hilt, informing the officers that her aunt had just been buried that day and now this was too much to bear. The officers believed her and the men were hauled off to jail. Once that was dealt with Selena locked up the house and slept soundly.

Her aunt had taught her a lot of things, but the main thing she had been taught was that a woman could only rely on herself and trust only herself. She had been trained in business and accounting and in wheeling and dealing.

The other thing she was taught was how to handle the press and to show the proper face at the correct event. She was often seen at Hollywood events with her aunt before her death.
